Features and benefits
Our furniture collections have been developed after more than a
decade of experience in teak garden furniture. Classic designs have been revamped, tweaked or improved. Either dowels, wooden butterflies,
or other strengthening pieces that are glued and screwed into place, mechanically hold
all the joints together. You are not relying on just glue, or joinery you cannot see. You
can see these improvements and so can your customers. High quality epoxy mixed with
special epoxy filler (micro balloons) for extra strength is used throughout. All furniture
comes with our Wildwater logo or company logo of your choice.
All handles are made of solid stainless steel, or brass, hinges and drawer gliders are either from
the brands Hafele® or Blum® depending on the models. All screws and bolts are of noncorroding
material. These features and benefits are written to highlight the traditional
joinery techniques Mr. Jones uses and the design differences, that sets Mr. Jones
furniture apart from what is available today on the market of wooden furniture.

MANUFACTURING

Manufacturing quality practices are rigorously followed though the entire process.
Construction and Assembly: Individual components are manufactured to exacting standards by skilled craftsmen.

1.  Structural components are tightly fitted together with the time proven mortise and tenon or dowel joinery techniques. Nails and brads are never used to secure joints.

2  Moving joints are pre-assembled and tested to assure the movement works smoothly and the fasteners are secured so they will not loosen during transport and normal use.

3.  Glued joints are fully bonded with a premium grade weather resistant polyurethane furniture adhesive to assure structural integrity for generations.

3. Natural finish
teak furniture is finished by sanding only, in at least 3 successive
grades of sandpaper with a final 400 grade, which actually polishes the surface of the
teak to a mild sheen. This polishing process brings the natural oils in the teak to the
surface and will actually slow the ageing process of the furniture.
The finished piece is then thoroughly cleaned with compressed air to remove dust
particles from the surface. To ensure that the smooth surface of the wood is preserved,
the cleaning process is totally dry
