This catalogue only shows part of the complete Amazing Max collection.
The Max garden collection has been developed after years of experiencing the problems associated with the standard design Indonesian garden furniture. Designs have been revamped, tweaked or improved to do away with these problems. The joints are all mechanically held together, either by dowels, wooden butterflies, or other strengthening pieces that are glued and screwed into place. You’re not relying on just glue, or joinery you can’t see. You can see these improvements and so can your customers. High quality epoxy mixed with special epoxy filler (microballoons) for extra strength is used throughout. All furniture comes with nylon feet, company logo of your choice and extra packing. All brass fittings are solid brass, custom made for HotWax by one supplier that we have used since inception. All threaded brass barrel bolts have threadlocker applied to them to prevent them from loosening.Check as well our teak garden furniture website www.timeforteak.com
This Garden Bar is more compact than other models which doesn’t detract from it’s functionality. Glass and bottle shelves on the doors and plenty of room for an ice bucket inside. Solid brass piano hinges and ball catches used throughout for smoothness and longevity.
The most noticeable thing about the Max extension and fixed tables is that they use more wood, with fully 35mm thick tops and rails, and 70x70mm legs tapering down to 50x50mm, this together with the narrow slat and smooth bullnose moulding, give a more contemporary look. By using stainless steel corner brackets the system does away with the glue, dowels and threaded inserts usually associated with garden table assembly. These tables can be assembled by anyone with a limited handyman capability by tightening a few screws and nut’s, which, when used in combination with a machine made mortise and tenon to locate the legs and provide a shoulder to tighten against, make for a very solid construction system which can just as easily be disassembled again. This system also does away with the lower crossmembers and “H” pieces with their extra joinery at the bottom of the legs, common on other designs, giving a cleaner look. The rectangular tops feature traditional mortise and tenon joinery, whereas the ovals and rounds have a strengthening butterfly glued and screwed under all the end to end segment joints. There is also a 20x20mm bead glued and screwed into every slat on the underside of all the tops to reinforce the joint between the slats and the frame, a common problem area.
The Max Eden bench range feature 55x55mm legs throughout and have a redesigned seat and back. The back slats are flush with the top rail, removing the uncomfortable ridge common with other designs, and have a smooth curve, which, along with a concave seat make for a very comfortable seating position. If the benches are required to be knockdown, all the nonpreassembled mortise and tenon joints are precision cut by machine, making for easy assembly, and all dowell holes are predrilled and dowells supplied.
This Swing bench is one of the largest and stongest available. Large section A frames are very durable. Massive brass eyebolts and galvanized chain will provide years of reliable service. A removable drinks tray at each end adds to functionality. A slated wooden roof with additional canvas cover provide great protection from the elements.
The HotWax deckchair has a redesigned back which has a comfortable lumbar curve and a redesigned top rail which lends a more contemporary look than a standard designed steamer. We also use four solid brass brackets to fix the seatback to the seat which is much stronger than the standard system.
